Description
A modern-looking restaurant, Kempson's is on Bennetts Hill - now deserving the epithet “bustling” due to the number of bars and restaurants it contains. There is seating for 50 in the restaurant, and there's a fairly spacious bar too. The décor is simple - lots of polished oak, white walls, soft lighting and blue wine glasses providing a stylish contrast with the white linen tablecloths. Dishes tend to be a mix of the classical and Mediterranean. Examples include braised shank of lamb with rosemary jus at £11.95, and there's a daily specials fish board. A three course set lunch is £11.95, and there are over 30 wines available.
