Description
Opened back in 1993, Harborne's California Pizza Factory remains as popular today as it was back then, despite strong competition from Pizza Express further up the High Street. CPF freshly makes and bakes all dough on the premises and the pizzas are turned out of stone ovens giving what management call an 'authentic' taste.
It is the originality of the pizza toppings, however, that is the strongest point. Tandoori, Peking duck, roast cod and barbecue chicken are just some of the offerings, although at £7 and up they are not cheapest in town. Nor is it particularly comfortable, thanks to hard wooden seats, but for pizzas with a difference it's certainly worth the effort.
