One of the friendliest restaurants of any type, the staff at the Lychee Garden make it their aim to be as obliging as possible. If you are uncertain about the cuisine then you are guided through the menu in a genuinely friendly and helpful manner. If you want to sound like you know what you're on about, however, try the chilli and pepper pork (£6.80) as it's recommended by regular diners. Special menus are available on weekdays, offering an eat-all-you-can deal at various prices depending on the time of your visit. The place doesn't look anything special from the outside, and it's hardly in a perfect location, but it will definitely repay a visit.
