Description
The Marriott is one of Birmingham's finer hotels, so you'd expect it to offer high quality cuisine. This it does, but if you want somewhere less grand than its Sir Edward Elgar restaurant then this smaller bistro-type venue could be for you. Clever placement of greenery and well-judged lighting immediately creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and the food is seriously good. Crab and salmon cakes with lime coriander retail at £6, whilst cannelloni of leeks and mushrooms comes in at £10.50. It's still not a cheap option, but for award-winning food in such pleasant environs it is worth the expense.
