Top of the Riverfront

We went there for a very elegant dinner in a casual and relaxed environment on the night of May 10th. The restaurant is on top of the Millennium Hotel front of the "Arch". By the time, we got there it was still raining, but a few moments later, the sky cleared and we enjoyed a magnificent view of the city. The Top of the Riverfront is a revolving restaurant that takes 90 minutes to complete a 360 degree turn, time enough to enjoy your meals.

The dining experience is relaxed and not hurried. The wine chart includes a wide selection of imported table wines and French champagnes (Moet & Chandon, and Don Perignon). The scallop appetizer was my favorite. Steaks are the specialty, but other options are unlimited.

A pianist completes the fine ambience. Ideal for special occasions or just to spoil yourself a little.

Top of the Riverfront

The Top of the Riverfront restaurant is located high on the top floor of the Regal Hotel in downtown St. Louis overlooking the majestic Mississippi River. The outermost ring of the round restaurant revolves affording the diner a 360 degree panoramic view of the entire city and the area surrounding the river. Make your reservations for around sunset for a truly spectacular view. The food is as delicious as the menu is varied. You can have anything from a succulent pork tenderloin to mouth-watering seafood pasta. They have an extensive wine list and the service was impeccable. An excellent dining experience overall.
