Frog and Firkin is practically a U of A intuition. Its faux British pub décor, amazing patio, and great food make it legendary. If you are at the U of A, you must stop here to eat.

The food is simple bar food type stuff with a unique twist. For example in addition to having regular cheesy Chicago style pizza, they have "no cheese please" vegan pizzas sold by the slice! For someone who has never ordered a slice in her life that was exciting enough, but when you add to the fact that the pizza is simply amazing Frog and Firkin becomes more than just a college hot spot it becomes a culinary haven.

But I would be amiss if I didn’t mention the buffalo wings. They are the perfect not to sweet not too spicy mix of flavor that makes them perfect, even the day after. Order an extra order to bring home, peal it off the bone and stick it on a salad and you’ve got a perfect lunch.

That’s the best way to describe Firkin, the perfect college spot for students and alumni alike.
