It was Valentine's Day so we had booked before we left on our vacation. The place was hopping and crowded but we were seated right on time. Service was excellent. The menu was a set three-course meal from the favorites of this restaurant and the related Bistro Zin in Tucson. Seared day boat scallops as an appetizer were to die for. The Maine lobster bisque was a hit also. The maple leaf duck is about the best duck I have ever had in a restaurant. It's a regular on the menu. Very moist and done to perfection. My wife raved about her shrimp pasta. We selected the creme brulee for dessert and it was superb and got an A+ for presentation with its orchid and chocolate dipped strawberry and fresh fruit decoration. An award wining wine list and knowledgeable staff resulted in a great choice of wines for both the main course and dessert.
A great place for a lovely meal. You weren't hurried and service was attentive but not intrusive. It was a great evening even on such a busy day.
