Dos Locos

Dos Locos Restaurant has a creative "nuevo latino cuisine" that is well beyond Mexican. In fact, we were unable to find anything easily defined as "Mexican" on the menu--but that wasn't a bad thing! The food is a fusion of tropical and Latin-inspired dishes from around the hemisphere. Seafood and grilled meats dominate, with fresh ingredients, and beautiful colorful sauces, and the portion sizes are just right. All side dishes and accompaniments were given special attention--certainly no beans and rice. Instead, manchego risotto, chile-spiced corn grits, potatoes, mango salsas, etc. Extensive appetizer selection, great for sharing.
The view from the patio offers spectacular dining experience! Very romantic resort setting.
