Kunming is a welcome relief to the Taipei restaurant scene where foreign (non-Chinese) foods are often mediocre in standard and over-priced. Here, the Indian and Yunan foods are tasty and, at TWD200 to TWD300 per dish, it is possible to try an assortment without paying too much.
Kunming's interior is simple and sparse. This may not be the place if you are looking for something stylish but it is clean and comfortable--and the food is good! The staff is also very friendly which makes the Kunming experience even more appealing.
