Description
With a Welsh owner, Kilkenny and Guinness on tap, and a menu including shepherd's pie and bangers and mash, Bumphys is the closest thing to an Irish pub in Nagoya. Bumphy's has live music every weekend of the traditional harp & accordion variety, and advertises no cover. The atmosphere is cozy, with a small stage in the corner, memorabilia on the walls, and a pleasant backroom decorated with a set of armor and some medieval weapons to give it a castle-drinking atmosphere. But you definitely pay for your Irish experience. Food is reasonably priced, but pints of Kilkenny and Guinness are a whopping JPY900 each.
