One of a well-known chain of noodle shops. Simple bowls of noodles start at JPY650. Donburi (large bowls of rice) topped with various savory items starts at JPY750. A popular dish is ebi oroshi soba (tempura-fried shrimp and grated Japanese radish with buckwheat noodles) for JPY1,350. The shop is especially popular among local white-collar workers, so visitors may have to endure a lot of cigarette smoke during lunch hour. Located across the street from the Kanko Hotel, and one block from the Hilton, the simple interior, seating around 50 on two floors, is worn but clean.
