It calls itself an izakaya, meaning 'comfortable place.' This is certainly a relaxing place where you can enjoy authentic Japanese dishes and barbecue specialties. A favorite is chicken teriyaki served with steamed rice. The interior features a sushi bar and elevated tables. Lots of activity near the grill and kitchen area enliven the place. About 75 percent of the clientele are Japanese nationals. A bottle of sake (rice wine) costs PHP1,200 and may be left at the bar for your next visit. Sochu (wheat wine) is also available at PHP950 a bottle.
