Description
Clean and well lit, with large picture windows that enhance the light and airy atmosphere, Lugawan Island offers a tasty introduction to lugaw, the Filipino version of Chinese congee (rice porridge). You can get a bowl of basic lugaw, and a side order of crispy tokwat baboy (deep-fried pork and bean curd dressed with soy sauce and vinegar) or lumpiang ubod (fresh spring roll). Tocino (sweet-cured pork), longaniza (sausage) and tapa (cured beef) are also available. Iced tea, soft drinks or mineral water go with your meal.
