How Not to Deal with an Unsatisfied Customer

My friends and i visited Ming Garden on Thursday, April 16 2009, and after seeing the menu and prices on the door (expensive) we expected to have a good meal here. I've had better in dingy take-aways!

I had beef chow mein (at €15.50 it was one of the cheapest main courses on the menu) the portion was small, the beef was like rubber and the noodles were stringy koka noodles out of a pack! The sweet and sour chicken was tasteless. Normally I would just say, "ah well" and eat up, but the prices did not in any way reflect the quality of the food.

We complained about the quality of the food, so our plates were whisked away and we were handed the bill. I refused to pay full price so ONE of the two sweet and sour chicken dinners was crossed off. That was not acceptable in my opinion, as i did not feel the beef chow mein should be paid for either, it was disgusting. The manager/head chef REFUSED to see us and we were then embarassed and threatened by a waiter. He said our claims were "bullshit" because no one else had complained that day (well, it was only 8.30pm!!) he even threatened to call the guards!

Avoid this restaraunt and head for the takeaway down the road.
