Eddie's is located within walking distance of Galway's main shopping area. From the outside it looks like an All-American classic diner. The exterior doesn't bely this impression; a jukebox, red vinyl booths, chrome chairs and elongated chrome counter are all featured in the decor. The menu specialises in good-quality diner staples: enormous hamburgers, French fries, ice cream and milkshakes all feature prominently - and the garlic fries are truly excellent.
