It offers consistent good quality and varied menu popular with locals and visitors alike. It's a very popular venue for wedding receptions, as the grounds are secluded and well maintained. It also won 1997's 'Black & White' Pub of the Year award. The bar offers comfortable and intimate surroundings in which to relax after a day spent touring, or a little repose after an immense meal.
