The food is fantastic! She also makes and sells hot sauce and it is worth the cost of $5. The building is one of the original ones from the 1700s. Located down one of the allies off the harbor, Glady's Cafe is worth the search.

Glady's Cafe is located in th Royal Dane Mall on St Thomas Island and is well worth the trip just to enter the old building. They have done a fine job of fashioning a nice restaurant inside this historical building. The food here is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly. Only problem is that they have only one restroom for both men and women, so there may be a slight wait.
This place was packed with locals, and after I tried lunch the reason was obvious. This is where I tried Conch Fritters for the first time, and really enjoyed them.I tried the fritters with their homemade Testa Sauce and was certainly happy to have a beer to wash it all down. Testa Sauce is hot,(really hot). Everything was excellent at Glad'y Cafe and I would recomend it to anyone.
