Food was OK here. If you are staying in Cruz Bay don't feel you have to go to the other side of the island to eat here. We didn't feel the food was any better than the restaurants in Cruz Bay. Prices range from $10 to $30.

Good food, wide price range, from sandwiches to more expensive seafood and steak dinners. Reasonable drinks and happy hour. Excellent homemade desserts -- best peanut butter pie we've had!

The food at this bar is very good for pub food. You can get good local cuisine such as conch fritters. It is very reasonably priced too. The bar is covered but there are no walls, just open air--how it should be in Saint John.

It's very pleasant. There is very little traffic and very little tourism on this side of the island.

You'll meet lots of Saint John locals here and you can arrange to go on scuba dives with them. They'll catch fresh fish or lobster and you just pay them by the pound.

From journal Great beaches, friendly people
