Its attractive counter displays filled with typical Palermian specialities such as Sicilian tutti-frutti, frutta martorana (a kind of almond cake) and Palermo's classic arancine (orange-shaped delicacies with a crispy coating and savoury filling) have made it one of the city's most popular meeting places.
