Description
Quite possibly the most elegant Italian restaurant in Havana, from the colonial façade and plant boxes on the outside (as well as the waiting porter), to the spacious dining room inside, with its impeccably laid tables. The soft colour of the walls and light streaming in through the windows, makes an aesthetic contrast with the dark-stained furniture and doors. Many of the original architectural features of the building have been preserved, such as the typical decorative band that runs around the walls, but there is also an unmistakably modern feel to the place. Flowers adorn the tables, a bar is found beside the main entrance, and a few steps further up, you come to the main dining room, decorated with paintings of Venice. From a culinary point of view, the establishment offers a choice of pasta, meat, shellfish and fish dishes.
