This restaurant, which specialises in grilled and baked fish, is an excellent example of a kind of restaurant typical of the Basque region, and in a very special way of the lovely little coastal town of Getaria. In this kind of establishment the core menu is almost unavoidable: char-grilled fish (turbot, sole, hake) or perhaps shellfish (lobster, crayfish or large Norwegian lobsters). When eating this kind of food, you should start with some kind of seafood, such as squid in its own ink or with onion, anchovies, or baked crab, accompanied by a light and sweetly acidic white wine, txacoli, which is produced in the area. The price is quite high as the raw materials are expensive.
