Possibly the best seafood restaurant in town, Fischhaus Alberhafen is situated, suitably enough, on the banks of the River Elbe. The menu contains a huge variety of fish and seafood, much of which comes from the lakes of Saxony. The fish kebabs are a popular choice, although it is always worth trying the special weekly dishes. The terrace offers a wonderful view of the port which will have you dreaming of seaside holidays. The canteen offers great-value breakfasts and lunches during the week (open 7am-2pm; EUR 2.50-3.75).
