A true Brussels institution, this delightful restaurant is located in the magnificent Galeries Saint-Hubert (near Grand Place). Over the decades, it has been the address to visit for delicious meals throughout the day (except breakfast). Midday there are tasty daily specials on offer. When alone and in need of camaraderie, sit at the long table in the middle, and you are guaranteed conversational success. Their filet américan (raw minced beef, expertly seasoned) is excellent, their choucroute à l'alsacienne (sauerkraut Alsatian style) heart-warming in winter. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, well recommended.
