Jeffery's Indian Restaurant

Description

A classic immigration story - before Jeffery's arrival in Basel many years ago, Indian cuisine was as good as unknown. After working for a number of years, he decided to address this problem, and opened Jeffery's. The dishes were designed to appeal to local tastes, and are not renowned for their spiciness.

Unsurprisingly, the menu consists manily of a selection of Tandoori dishes. The house speciality is Jeffery's own creation - the 'Golden Chicken' or 'Butter Chicken'. The delicious Mulligatawny soup is an excellent starter.
