A few years ago, this was still the rustic coachman's room in Fhof Celle. But the owner of the nobleman's house, the Count of Hardenberg, and his Managing Director Andreas Schmitt are both Toscana-lovers, and so with the Palio, they established a piece of Italy for connoisseurs. Only refined, typical furniture from the Toscana has been used to create the ambience, and only authentic Italian cuisine is served: Cucina casalingua, following recipes from Toscana, Piemont and Liguria. Of course, the pasta is homemade, deliciously prepared, and served either as starters or as main dishes ( EUR 8-13). The fresh Mediterranean fish is excellent and can be served as Caccuicco, a kind of soup, for (EUR 15).
