A beautiful country restaurant, always on the list of Germany's top 250 country inns, regularly recommended by the magazine Feinschmecker (Gourmet), and awarded a lily by the Varta-Guide for a 'generally satisfactory gastronomical performance with a very good cooking performance'. The cuisine is the responsibility of the charming chef de cuisine Melanie Woltemathe. She creates modern German-oriented, seasonal and regional dishes from only the best ingredients, meat only from animals raised naturally. The light, little half-timbered house is homely, furnished in an elegant way, and Ms. Woltemath's husband welcomes and serves the guests as friendly as he is courteous. In other words: Lüttjen Borwe can be recommended without reserve, and is a very good place for foreign guests to see a better piece of 'typical' Germany.
