Kuraisu is located above the Sun Plaza supermarket near the touristy Kyoto Handicraft Center and Heian Jingu Shrine. It has organic and vegetarian dishes on the menu (in Japanese and English) as well as this information: 'If you feel you cannot eat everything we serve, ask for a smaller portion.' While we can agree with the sentiment, this is not so useful for the first-time visitor as she/he has no idea how large the normal portion is. One can always ask, of course. It is a healthier option than yet another cloned fast food joint.
