Kushimaru specializes in serving high-quality Japanese beef grilled over charcoal; diners can enjoy their meals on an open patio. Despite being directly located beneath the railway tracks, the shaking that occurs (perhaps, it is part of the ambience!) does not seem to bother customers as they enjoy tender, flavorful skewers, some of which are priced at only JPY94 a piece. The menu also includes skewers stacked with mushrooms, peppers and garlic, jumbo prawns and scallops. A variety of sake is offered starting at JPY550 and local Japanese beers and on tap at JPY450.
