This is the original branch of the bakery cafe that's taking Cairo by storm. With great food and a casual yet classy ambiance, it's no secret why. The clientele is not limited to hotel residents: ex-pats and Egyptian executives oten stop in for a bite or takeaway. All the goodies are neatly displayed near the cashier, and there is a small dining area should you decide to eat in. The bakery serves delicious snacks such as croissants, Danish pastries, cakes and muffins; as well as a variety of cold cut chicken, veal, and beef sandwiches. A sandwich costs around EGP10 and baked items average around EGP2. There is also a range of teas, coffees and natural fruit juices on offer.
