You might not be a fan of his music, but it's hard not to be a fan of his cooking. If you can bear the incessant country music, this is the place to come for great food. Kenny Rogers fans can scan the walls for the namesake's concert photos, collectibles and platinum records. Otherwise, this is just a clean, run-of-the-mill sit-down family restaurant.
The wood-oven roasted chicken here is good, but it's the side dishes that make dining here worth a detour. Choose from garlic parsley potatoes, pasta salad, honey baked beans and many other delicious dishes. A half chicken with two side dishes and a surprisingly delicious muffin costs EGP 18.5. Skip the skimpy sandwiches, but not the hearty soup. Family meals are available as are plenty of specials.
