Description

This chain of Chinese restaurants are popular for the romantic settings they offer and the fine cuisine at moderate prices. Each branch is a little different, but all lay heavy on the red and black colour theme and traditional Chinese showpieces. The subdued lighting and soft music provide a cozy atmosphere, and the fine china tableware is very elegant. The menu is extensive and includes soups, salads, noodles and a variety of meat and seafood dishes. Start with crispy spring rolls (5 for EGP 5.25) or doughy won ton (EGP 6.25). The Szechuan beef (EGP 17) is a little mild, but tastes delicious. The chicken and duck dishes - simmered in a variety of sauces - are usually very good, but the prawns with oyster mushrooms (EGP 29) are the way to go. Alcohol is served.
