Once upon a time this was a cheap beer bar. Now, it's a stylish venue with pleasant decor serving hearty food.

Since the building itself is round, the decor has had to adapt. The result is highly successful, and you'll have a feeling of gentle familiarity from the minute you step inside. There is soft light and music as well as pretty little decorative touches. In the summer, a few tables are put up outdoors.

Traditional, authentically-prepared Austrian and German food is available here. Expect hearty dishes such as doughy dumplings and sour but crispy cabbage amongst other things. There are plenty of different beers and wines on offer.
