Maybe the Worst Restaurant in the City

London Steak House is an incredibly obvious restaurant with a superb location bang in the centre of Warsaw close to Metro Centrum on Aleje Jerozolimskie. Heading down towards Rondo de Gaulle (that's the cross roads with the palm tree), it is on the left. Promoted with an English phone box by the entrance (that must have set them back at least 800 quid!), this is the only example of a British restaurant in the city and it's really no wonder that Europe thinks we have the worst cuisine if the cooking is measured by this restaurant's effort!
You can find things like post boxes and traditional models of bobbies inside what is really quite a grandiose albeit depressing room to dine. I'm not sure how this place stays in business, it is to the restaurant business what Patrick's Bar in the city is to the bar trade, the place only tempts tourists into visiting it with the promise of a good steak, the food is very poor, the chefs aren't very good at all and no local or expat would really want to visit it. The price is by no means cheap either, you are looking at about 60zl (15 quid)l for a steak.
If you do for whatever reason go there, steer clear of the English breakfast which is absolutely rank. There are 1000's of restaurants in the city and there's absolutely no reason to go here. If steak is your poison then you are better off choosing "Pink Cadillac" instead.
I'll give you the address, just so that you don't walk into it accidentally!
