Description
This may be the cheapest place in town for basic traditional Polish food and it's one of the most popular milk bars in Warsaw. It probably hasn't changed at all in the last forty years. If you are on a tight budget it's excellent value but don't expect too much.
Red checked tablecloths and plastic salt cellars - this is not the most elegant place in town. It's frequented by students, pensioners and those who are down on their luck so you can never tell who you'll be sitting next to.
This is basic food at bargain prices with the most expensive dish around 15zl. There is a huge yellow menu on the wall which lists the current prices. You order at the till, get a receipt and then take this to the serving hatch where you will be served your food, just like in the old days.
