Description
Situated in the same building as another Chinese restaurant (Cesarski Palac), Pekin is less fancy but the food here is tastier.
The decor is simple and plain, with old-fashion European-style tables and chairs, complemented by Chinese artwork, fans and lanterns. The tables are well laid out, with a wonderful private room at the front.
The food scores high marks and even the most complicated dishes are prepared perfectly every time e.g. the deep fried tofu. Everything has that freshly prepared taste and the vegetables are always cooked until hot but still crunchy. The wine list is fairly short, but there is a small bar with an adequate selection of basic drinks.
