Description
This restaurant introduces you to the far-gone atmosphere of the twenties/thirties in Warsaw. Located on Mazowiecka street, where one of the most popular restaurants of pre-war Warsaw -Cafe Ziemianska- was also located, it tries to recall that ambiance, those esthetics, tastes and smells.
On one of the walls you can admire the painting representing the inside of Cafe Ziemianska with its pre-war clientele, dressed in coats with fur collars and fancy little hats. This paining seems to project from the wall into the actual interior of the restaurant, into its cosy chairs, crystal mirrors and dark painted walls, so that you end up with the impression of having travelled back in time.
Kuznia offers a unique menu based on original and often fancy recipes collected from the twenties and thirties. Admirers of game and lamb will have to stop by and taste almost forgotten Polish dishes like roszponki and cylandry.
