Description
Montmartre is one of the very few restaurants in Warsaw offering genuine French cuisine. Located opposite the former communist party headquaters, it gives a good view of that building.
It's an upscale French restaurant, severely lacking in geniune French style, though pleasantly and elegantly designed. The clientele consists mainly of buisnessmen and older couples.
Montmartre offers a wide variety of French wine, excellent frutti di mare (38-80 zl.), a range of salads and main dishes definitely worth trying. As an appetizer try the tartar of Norwegian salmon.
