Call for Pizza!

As you know I'm a huge fan of pizza and hopefully by the time I've finished my pizza review empire - there'll be no where in the world you'll be able to go without checking out a pizza review here! Unfortunately at the moment I'm only currently covering Lithuania and Poland in the Restaurant International section.

Telepizza is one of my local pizza places, originally a Spanish company I believe, they are also a chain in Poland. They're initial price is no different from any of the other pizza chains but it's their promotions that offer unbelievable discounts. You can update the size of your pizza for a mere 25p (any day, any time) or you can have two of the same items for the same price (this is normally only available in the restaurant or on a Tuesday or Thursday) and 40% discounts for students.

What's more is that the ingredients and the way they cook them is definitely up there with some of the very best, a thin and soft yet crispy base with generous toppings of some of the finest mouth watering combinations ensures you will enjoy this pizza. My personal fave is the rather simple Pizza Kebab which has chicken meat, onion, cheese, tomato and kebab sauce (a sort of garlic flavoured sauce) on, you would expect to pay about 28zl (7 pounds) for a large sized one which would more than satisfy two people and is actually designed for 3 monsters!

Another favourite of mine is the 4 cheeses which uses Rockpol, a strong Polish blue cheese which has a good bite and competes well with it's European counterparts, it's not like Stilton or a hard Blue cheese but more similar to Danish Blue and I love the taste of it melted into a pizza!

I can only think of 2 better pizza places in the city and one of those is a long way from the center whilst the other one is more expensive. TelePizza satisfy the customer with plenty of locations, free delivery, good food and cheap prices. At prime time pizza purchasing hours like Friday night for families or Sunday hangover time, you may have to wait a bit longer than normal which can be frustrating!

A big let down is that the website is not in English but the staff do speak English, so if you are in need of a take away pizza for whatever reason, you are best off just ringing them to find out what deals they have at that time, the menu is fairly easy to work out but a dictionary may be required to translate some of the ingredients!
