Centro de Estudios Gastronómicos (CEGA)

Description

Only 30 people have daily access to this gastronomic school that opens as a restaurant everyday at lunchtime. Located in a beautiful house in a beautiful street, the students at CEGA present their creations based on Venezuela's gastronomic traditions and offer them to the public.

There is a set menu that changes everyday. Tables are distributed in the various rooms of the house and alcoholic drinks are served in only some of these rooms.

The current interest in Venezuelan cuisine is evidenced by the existence of this restaurant, which was the initiative of historian José Rafael Lovera, and by the amount of time in advance that customers have to book reservations.
