Description

The relatively recent Torre Europa building houses several restaurants. The Tambo stands out from the rest for the quality and distinctiveness of its food. The restaurant is on two floors, with the lower one taken up by an elegant bar. On the upper floor there is a sushi bar where the cooking, though it includes Vietnamese and Thai dishes, is mainly Nikkei, which is a mixture of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Caramelized prawns and chicken in peanut sauce are just a couple of examples from the menu, which also includes fish, seafood and seaweed dishes on the Japanese side, Chupes (spicy soups) and Cebiches (raw fish in lemon juice) on the Peruvian. Delivery is available, mainly to offices in the building, for an extra 2000 Bolivars.
