Tanaka of Tokyo East

From entering the door, you felt the Japanese ambience. We didn't have reservations (which are HIGHLY recommended) so we waited for a table with openings. The restaurant is hibachi style but also have sushi. We were seated with a Japanese family of four and another Japanese couple that didn't speak English. Our chef first offered us forks for dinner, which we declined.

We watched as the chef prepared the food with flair and a juggle of bowls. It was a fun experience, but the food was the greatest we've had, and this reigns as one of the best dinners we have ever had out.

A suggestion? Order the Diamyo combination. Steak, lobster and scallops--each will just melt in your mouth.
