Description
Shigenobu Mukae learnt how to cook 'Benihana' Japanese cuisine in New York. While Mukae was working in USA, he came to Chile several times and, after falling in love with a Chilean woman, he decided to settled down here for good and open the first 'Benihana' food restaurant. It is very interesting chatting to the owner; he is an adventurous man, who is also a land surveyor and has achieved black belt in karate.
At lunchtime this restaurant is packed with businessmen, as it offers an excellent executive menu at 6.500 pesos.
The restaurant is complemented by an amusing karaoke bar and happy hour from Monday to Saturday 7pm-9pm. There are only 6 teppanyaky tables for 8 persons each, so it is strongly recommended to book in advance.
