Description
Chez Max is a basement bastion of accomplished French cuisine, which, with its cosy, candle-lit ambience and attentive service, is an ideal place for romancing your partner. Chez Max is a home-from-home - far removed from the gastro-domes that have sprung up over London in recent years. Dishes such as pigeon de Bresse roti a l'ail, osso bucco and lapin set the tone of the menu. Two courses cost £25, three £30 and the full four courses (if you can manage them) cost £35. But prepare to pay more as some of the more exciting dishes are only available at a supplement. House wine is £11.50 and the list is unashamedly French.
