We had a lunch and a dinner here. At lunch a lot of TV execs were here as it"s close to their office. There's a select, good wine list and the food is a bit eclectic. Wisely, I think, the owners of this chain offer a limited menu (five or six entrees, two or three desserts) and don't attempt more. My lunch scallops were done just right, mingled with roasted red peppers over pasta. At dinner, I had a very tender ribeye steak (life is a risk) and my husband raved about his roasted fig dessert. Service was a bit leisurely but we were in no hurry. Gabriel's Wharf is right on the river at the end of the wharf, so many couples were there at dinner to enjoy a romantic, illuminated river scene. Definitely reasonable prices for London- it was a surprise to me to learn this was a chain restaurant, comparable to the Olive Garden chain in Southern California in its limited menu and informality. Two blocks' walk from our apartment to some of the most spectacular night views in London!
