Description
With its bare brick walls, rustic wooden tables and chairs and cosy nooks and crannies, La Poule au Pot oozes Gallic character. The place is a long-standing favourite destination for romantic dates and there's a great atmosphere with absolute charm and zero pretension. The rustic cuisine includes its namesake, as well as good fish and other light bistro classics with a 'home cooking' feel. An average meal isn't cheap, but the two- and three-course prix fixe menus are good value.
