Description
The Connaught Hotel is somewhat of an institution and this restaurant has remained at the top for some 30 years. As you'd expect from such a place, the restaurant's dining room is traditionally, but tastefully, decorated. Michel Bourdin cooks up a wonderful Anglo-French menu of haute-couture dishes for the discerning palate - with the scrambled egg and caviar pastries being especially wonderful. A bottle of house wine is £22, an essential accompaniment to savour the full complexity of food flavours. There is a set weekday lunch for £50 - surely a Mayfair bargain.
