Description: I must admit I'm a fan of fine dining.I for one enjoy a great evening with successful food and drink so much so that even today I would like to introduce one of my favorite restaurants in Munich, namely the so-called Orlando which is run by renowned chef Alfons Schubeck and managed.
One of the advantages of the Orlando Alfons Schubeck is the position in the heart of Munich. It is located in the so-called Platzl, so that you can reach it very well by public transport but also other attractions such as the Hofbrauhaus are just a stone's throw, so that you can as a tourist both also combine them well. Those who come here with the public transport goes to the Marienplatz, where you do not only have bus 56, the subway 3 and 6, all commuter trains and in less than 5 minutes you are on site.
as i enjoy good dining i don’t want to spend too much money and that’s what i like about this place. It has very good price with the main dishes availble from 20 euro’s and starters and desserts are for example between 3 and 7 euro’s. Cold and hot beverages are at around 3 euro’s. A particular highlight is the lunch table. It is a balanced meal on weekdays in the period between 11.30 and 15 clock namely for only 9.80 € which is very cheap in the inner city of Munich.
In my view reservation is only nessecary on weekends or special holidays otherwise the Orlando offers plenty of space, so you can quickly find space with a larger group. If you still want a reservation can be done by telephone, mail or electronic booking through the website.
Let us now focus on the most important in a restaurant. In addition to numerous hot and cold drinks there are first of all the wines that are quite able to be seen. The price per glass begins here at around 4 euro. Interesting is the offer in terms of food on the menu. They have there own creations as well as offer real classic fine dining. A Creme Brulee or a Bavarian cream for dessert are therefore also on sale again as the roast leg of the ox or the salad as a starter. As a tip you can also call again the sausage with which the chefs have ventured in Orlando.
When you visit a place like Orlando's you expect good service. This fits really well because the waiters are very fast, very friendly and allow the viewer to also allow sufficient time for its selection of food and beverages. Likewise you can ask for advice about which kind of wine you should have with a certain main dish.
I really enjoy this restaurant from the ambiance with the dark wood to the staff. Everything seems to fit perfectly and the foodis delicious and not even that expensive for what you get. They have a good selection of wine and other beverages that goes perfectly with the main courses and other dishes. I think you are in really good hands here and i definetately recommend this place.
