We are living in Santo Domingo for this year and after discovering Pizzarelli, we eat there nearly weekly. The open-air one on the Malecon is great for watching people (and, unfortunately, sometimes, traffic) and is really noisy but is still our favorite. Pizzas are "new York" style and come with a variety of toppings including corn. Stromboli is another favorite and is huge and filled with the ususal plus broccoli and corn. I saw Pizza Hut listed above this on this list: seriously? You gotta try Pizzarelli; you'll forget that other pizza place.
