Description: We generally try to avoid indoor mini golf unless it's raining outside or really cold. We've yet to find an indoor place that lives up to some of the outdoor courses. It was a little windy, though, and the outside display at Circus Golf looked fun.
As soon as we got our tickets though ($32 for two adults and a 5 year old!) we went on inside and were almost immediately disappointed. It was a blacklight golf course. It took a few seconds for our eyes to get adjusted. It was so dark, however, that we couldn't tell where the first hole was. Turns out, we were standing on it as another family, who's had the same problem, helpfully pointed out to us.
The area was very small and tight. You would literally finish one hole and be right on top of the next one. Luckily, nobody was ahead of us or behind us because I have no idea where those waiting would have stood.
The decorations consisted of a few statues and paintings and the whole neon paint thing. They could have done a lot of interesting things with this course. They didn't. Some of it didn't even look finished. I thought it was newer than it was because of this.
There were only a few obstacles. We went through the whole course really quickly. The best part was at the very end when we had to go back outside and hit the last ball. My son and husband got holes-in-one and won free games at another course.
This was an okay course overall. We would probably do it again if we were looking for something to do indoors and found a good coupon. I couldn't see us paying full price again for it, though. They definitely spent more money on the outside than they did on the inside.
