Description: Le Westin Montreal is very conveniently located. Literally steps away from Vieux-Montreal (the old town) in one direction and Chinatown and the Latin Quarter in the other, a stay here puts you within walking distance to a plethora of restaurants and cafes, bars, shops, museums and more. The valet parking service is convenient and for a metropolitan city reasonably priced at $26 per day. The lobby is impressive and modern. Our check in was very quick and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was a standard king on the 17th floor. The view could have been better, we were on the side of the building and faced another hotel, but the window blind provided privacy while still letting in light. The bed was the famous Westin "Heavenly Bed" and it truly was like sleeping on a cloud. The pillow top had to be a minimum of 4 inches thick, the sheets were soft and the down comforter and pillows were all extra luxurious. The room itself was gigantic, with plenty of space, a desk and office chair, two lounge chairs and a small coffee table. The in-room refrigerator was cleverly hidden on one side of the dresser and the safe on the other, with drawers in the middle for clothing. There was a 42" flat screen, and a coffeemaker with Starbucks brand coffee. The bathroom was also very large, and the fully glass-encased stand-up shower was a definite plus. There was, however, nowhere near enough sink/counter space. One other minor complaint would be how late it was before our room was cleaned on Saturday - 4:30 p.m. We did not use the pool or the gym but we did take a peek at the facilities. The gym was very nice and had plenty of equipment which all looked to be in great condition. The pool seemed small and was rather crowded. There is a restaurant on-site, gazette, but we did not eat there. All in all this hotel was sleek, modern, comfortable, friendly and conveniently located. I would highly recommend a stay.
